Applications for ISEV Workshop: EVs Biomolecular Corona now open!
The in-person Extracellular Vesicles Biomolecular Corona workshop (27th and 28th February 2025) will be the first-ever to bring together experts from the synthetic and biogenic nanoparticle fields (with focus on EVs) to share tools, foster new studies, and showcase the remarkable and most recent research in the EV-corona space worldwide. Further information and preliminary program can be found here.
To apply, please complete the application form below by 21st October 2024, 11:59 PM EST. Only ISEV members can participate at the workshop, so please visit the ISEV website to sign up if you are not yet a member. The workshop is registration free, but participants are responsible for all their travel and accommodation expenses.
Approximately 60 participants will be selected to attend the workshop and will be notified by November 19th 2024. Please note that applications with abstracts/data/proposed presentations will be prioritized.

The unique surface antigen fingerprint of docetaxel-resistant cells is prominently reflected on the surface of extracellular vesicles!
The research team headed by Vendula Hlaváčková Pospíchalová was invited to collaborate with Dr. Soucek's lab, where they demonstrated that the unique surface antigens of docetaxel-resistant cells are strongly reflected on EVs. This finding could be a promising step toward developing predictive markers for docetaxel resistance. Learn more.

Zuzana Vince Kazmerova has been awarded a grant through the Challenger Science program
This program, organized and sponsored by the ESET Foundation in collaboration with the Civitta organization and supported by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, aims to help scientists in Slovakia unlock their business potential. Participants will engage in workshops to develop entrepreneurial skills, establish connections with partners and potential customers, identify commercialization opportunities, and prepare for presentations. The program also includes individual mentoring and coaching sessions. Zuzana will focus her work on MASLD diagnostics using EVs.
