	Short Yellow Tabasco C. frutescens?; heavy set of pendent 1x'1/3" smooth, blunt-tipped orange fruits on 1x1' plants with small leaves; looks almost exactly like Orange Pekoe, but has small greenish flowers; not sure if this is C. frutescens or chinense, I chose the former based on fruit's lack of strong smokey-tropical aroma; good drier, fairly hot. 	St. Helena Island Yellow Upright, smooth, 1.5"x.75" bright orange-yellow hot fruits on rather small plant; looks much like a small, yellow Jalapeno; very attractive. NY RI R 96 (89) Robert W. Richardson, Phelps, NY From friend who lives on St. Helena, the small South Atlantic Island where Napoleon died. This friend writes: "They are bright yellow about 2" long and sometimes grow a bit shapeless. Probably came from the east years ago by some traveler. Hottest we have and now seems to be getting rare."
	St. Lucia Yellow Seasoning C. chinense; wrinkled, flattened 2½x1" pendent yellow fruits on 2' tall x 2½' wide plants; fruits have strong smoky - tropical fruit aroma, but no heat. PA WE J 00
	Starfish C. baccatum; erect 3/4x1½" scalloped, flattened red fruits that have a 6-armed starburst on top, just like a starfish; plant 2½' tall x 3' wide; very unusual and attractive variety, one of my favorites from the year 2000 trials. PA WE J 00

	Sue's Mexican Chili .75" diameter smooth, round, upright red fruits on tall plant with hairy leaves. Has been grown in Columbus, WI for some time by Sue Gronholz, but exact cultivar name unknown. WI GR S 97 Sue Gronholz, Beaver Dam, WI From Sue's Mexican neighbor, Maria, in 1993. They grow wild in N. Mexico.
	Super Shepherd Heavy set of upright, 7x3" tapered red fruits; excellent sweet flavor; early production. NJ CA J 99 .... CV NK 87 ... Stokes Seeds, St. Catherines, Ontario. At least as far back as 1981. "Selected from original for a taller plant with longer, thick-walled fruit"
