Information on the progress and final reports of the GA CR projects 2024

The deadline for submission of the progress reports for STANDARD PROJECTS and PIF projects is 15 January 2025.

The deadline for submission of all final reports and progress reports of EXPRO and JUNIOR STAR projects is 4 February 2025.

Important internal deadlines and information:

  • The requests for recharges of material costs must be submitted for electronic approval no later than Friday 10 January 2025.
  • The request for transfer to the FÚUP for progress reports will be solved electronically. Please complete this table and send it to the relevant project economist who will enter the electronic approval, no later than Sunday 12 January 2025 at 15:00 (not applicable to final reports).
  • Returns of unspent funds, even from partner organizations, must be notified to project economists no later than Sunday 12 January 2025.
  • The accounting of ending as well as continuing projects must be closed NO LATER than Monday 13 January 2025 at 12:00.
  • Progress reports - by Saturday 11 January 2025, we will fill in the amounts spent in personal and operational costs for 2024 in GRIS. You will then fill in the justifications for the costs spent, justify the transfers in 2024 and fill in the plan for 2025 (amounts and justifications). Ideally by Sunday 12.1.2025. This will be followed by a review from us.
  • Final reports, progress reports of EXPRO a JUNIOR STAR projects - by Monday 27 January 2025, we will fill in the amounts spent in personal and operational costs for 2024 in GRIS. You will then fill in the justifications for the costs spent and justify the transfers in 2024. For progress reports of EXPRO and JUNIOR STAR projects you will also fill in the plan for 2025 (amounts and justification). This will be followed by a review from us.
  • All project reports are completed fully in English, including cost justification.
  • The final profit and loss account will be uploaded to the project annexes in GRIS by the project economist after closing the project accounts and booking the transfer to the FÚUP.
  • After checking, you will be requested to generate a final PDF (please don't close earlier) which you will send to our internal address gacr@sci.muni.cz. The PDF must not be renamed, this would cause a certificate error.
  • If you make any changes in the report after checking it, please let us know.
  • Even investigators in the role of partner must have their part of the report checked before submission to the Principal investigator. If you have a deadline from the Principal Investigator for completing your report, please inform us about this deadline. Usually everyone requests the report completed earlier than we do.
  • If we are the Principal Investigator and you have a partner organization in the project, please inform them of the above deadline for notification of any returns and ask them to complete their part of the progress report by Monday 13 January 2025 (for final reports and progress report of EXPRO projects by Friday 31 January 2025).
  • If you need to complete the report earlier for serious reasons (e.g. going abroad without internet access, returning from abroad, serious family or health reasons...) please inform us in advance.

Information for progress reports:

  • For the first year of the project, only the management of funds and a list of publication outputs are reported in the progress report. A detailed report on the progress of the three-year project is submitted after the second year of the project. In the first year report, a detailed report on the progress would be reported only if there is a significant change from the original project plan.
  • For projects starting in 2024, a link to the beneficiary's existing Gender equality plan must be included in the progress report if it has not been included in the project proposal. There are financial penalties for failure to comply with this obligation. The Gender equality plan can be found here: CZ version, EN version. In GRIS, it is filled in on the tab with the name of the investigator in the "Supplement data" section.
  • For projects starting in 2024 a Data Management Plan must be included in the annexes of the progress report. There are financial penalties for failure to comply with this obligation.

Information for final reports:

  • According to the tender documents, only the financial part of the report is submitted in January after the end of the project. The scientific part of the report and the project outputs are submitted one year later in January 2025 (this option is predefined in GRIS under the "Overall management" tab). In this case, it is not necessary to fill in the final report now. If you want to submit a complete report with all outputs immediately, select the option "I request an evaluation" and fill in all required information. The third option is to request a postponement of the evaluation for another six months (until July 2025).

Justification for multiple dedications

In case that in the published results of GACR projects there is a thanking to other projects of the GACR, the publication cannot be accepted as a project result unless these multiple dedications to other projects are sufficiently justified in the progress or final report. The justification of multiple dedications must explain which author is thanking which project, the contribution of each project to the publication output of the GACR project and the share of the work done by each project in the dedication.

INFORMATION ON THE PROGRESS AND FINAL REPORTS OF THE TACR PROJECTS

  • The request for transfer to the FÚUP for progress reports will be solved electronically. Please complete this table and I will enter the electronic approval, no later than Thursday 11 January 2024.
  • Returns of unspent funds, even from partner organizations, must be notified to me no later than Thursday 11 January 2024.
  • The deadline for delivery of the progress report is Thuesday 30 January 2024.
  • The deadline for final reports is within 30 days of the end of the project, so if you end on 31 December 2023, it is Thuesday 30 January 2024.
  • After submitting the report in ISTA, you need to generate a "Submission Confirmation", which I will send it to the TACR.

Completing the report in ISTA:

  • Instructions for submitting the interim and final report of the TAČR project.
  • In addition, the TACR issued separate guidelines for each programme. The guidelines are always available for download in the ISTA, in the progress/final report documents.
  • For projects that have an external application guarantor, the Statement of the external application guarantor is a mandatory annex. If you have more than one application guarantor, there must be a statement from all of them. Please find more detailed information in the report documents.
  • Another obligatory annex is the expert report, TACR has not issued any form for filling it in, it only specifies the obligatory structure that the expert report must contain. The mandatory structure can be found in the documents accompanying the report. TACR makes a recommendation to follow the structure of the proposal.
  • I will put the final profit and loss account to the project annexes in ISTA. For all the projects we will also have a return of income from bank account, I will have the calculation after the accounts are closed and I will put the amount in ISTA for you.
  • As for completing the financial drawdown, I can fill in the amounts for you. The final figures will be available to you in the week of 22 January 2024.

Vyhlášení veřejné soutěže v programu INTER - EXCELLENCE, podprogramu INTER-COST (VES20 COST)
  • Soutěžní lhůta: 2.11. – 16.12.2019
  • Interní termín pro předložení návrhů projektů ke kontrole je nejpozději do 2.12. 2019.

Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy vyhlásilo veřejnou soutěž v podprogramu INTER-COST pro podávání návrhů projektů na zapojení českých vědeckých týmů do evropské mnohostranné spolupráce COST v oblasti základního výzkumu, průmyslového výzkumu a experimentálního vývoje a to formou nových akcí COST nebo připojením se k již navrženým akcím COST.

Návrh projektu musí být součástí některé z již schválených akcí COST a současně musí být ukončena vnitrostátní procedura vstupu do akce COST v ČR. Návrh projektu má být zpracován v angličtině (pokud není výslovně požadováno jinak)

Projekty je možné řešit od 15. 5. 2020 – 31.12.2023. Minimální doba řešení projektu je 20 měsíců. Doba řešení projektu však nesmí přesáhnout dobu řešení akce COST.

Podmínkou je doložení vyjádření navrhovatele nové akce COST, obsahující doporučení s připojením návrhu projektu k nové akci COST. U běžících akcí COST musí být doloženo vyjádření řídícího výboru akce COST k zařazení návrhu projektu do akce.

Soutěžní lhůta: 2.11. – 16.12.2019

Interní termín pro předložení návrhů projektů ke kontrole je nejpozději do 2.12. 2019. Vzhledem k blížící se uzávěrce roku prosím konzultujte návrhy projektů s dostatečným předstihem.

Návrhy projektů lze podávat pouze prostřednictvím datové schránky nejpozději 16.12. dopoledne.
