If the applicant completed a previous study abroad, for the purposes of enrolling in the study, it is necessary to fulfill one of the following options:
1. provide a certificate of recognition of educational equivalence or a nostrification clause
Provide a certificate of recognition of educational equivalence or a nostrification clause Both are issued by the education departments of the regional authorities. 2. provide a foreign document of a foreign high school education with a school-leaving exam, which is covered by the equivalence agreement concluded by the Czech Republic
If in the Czech Republic, according to its international obligations, it is automatically equivalent without further official procedure, in the form of an officially certified copy with an official translation into Czech or English (translations are not required for documents issued in Slovak or English).
3. provide a European Baccalaureate certificate
In the form of an officially certified copy with an official translation into Czech or English (translations are not required for certificates issued in Slovak or English).
4. verify the admission conditions for study by the faculty
Verification of the conditions of admission to study for graduates of foreign secondary and higher education is governed by Masaryk University Directive No. 2/2019.
According to the Measure of the Dean of the Faculty of Science of MU No. 1/2019, the amount of the fee for verification of foreign education according to Section 48, Paragraph 7 of the Act on Universities is CZK 800. The fee can be paid here.
