In last decades the research activities are concentrated on specific regions, where is possible to study colonisation process and its development. Since 80´s years of 20. century by this method was explored early medieval settlement in Haraska river-basin laying along 14km long river. In this region three cemeteries were explored near villages Diváky, Boleradice and Morkůvky. In proposed project will be completed modern archaeological and anthropological analysis of these three cemeteries, to receive a new data by applying modern invasive methods. In frame of this approach following technologies will be applied: aerial photography, evaluation of archaeological artefacts, anthropological laboratory methods: palaeodiet reconstruction, completing of demographic data using DNA analysis in sexing children and adult individuals, blood grooup analysis and face reconstruction. To take advantage of modern methods will enable us to receive new knowledge concerning provincial population in early medieval period. The settlement of Haraska river-basin will be used as a model region for this reason.
