On 30 March 2022, the Scientific Board of the MU Faculty of Science met for the first time in a new composition. To the delight of Dean Tomáš Kašparovský, twelve new members accepted the invitation, including the Rector of the University of Defence in Brno, Zuzana Kročová, the Rector of Mendel University, Jan Mareš, and the member of the Research, Development and Innovation Council (Government of the Czech Republic) Jitka Ulrichová.
New members of the Scientific Board of the MU Faculty of Science:
The scientific board is a body of public universities that is established both within the university, and at the level of individual faculties. It deals for example with university’s or faculty’s long-term strategic plans, approves study courses, and focuses on the habilitation procedure and professor appointment procedure.
