Training - Gender Biases Against Women
As part of Gender Equality Plan MU (GEP), a training session focused on the issue of gender stereotypes.
At the end of October 2018, the National Contact Centre for Gender and Science held the 5th National conference on gender and science, subtitled Science as a Profession. The faculty HR Award team had the opportunity to meet the British science journalist Angela Saini and also experts from Institute of Sociology of the Czech Academy of Science in Prague, Marta Vohlídalová and Kateřina Cidlinská who presented the outcomes of the research on working conditions in the academic profession.
We have also discussed future cooperation in the area of mentoring for researchers, and the European mentoring network eument-net.

In May 2024, we launched an analytical phase of the project "Introducing a Flexible Working Culture and a Support System for Parents on Maternity and Parental Leave into the Working Environment of the MU Faculty of Science" as part of the Employment Plus Operational Programme (OPZ+). This phase includes a gender equality audit, featuring structured individual and group interviews with our employees, led by an auditor.
