C4e is a multi-disciplinary centre of excellence, focusing on basic research of technical and non-technical aspects of cybersecurity. The research activities are divided into three areas. The first area covers process and technical measures of securing critical information infrastructures, utilizing simulation, verification, and predictive analysis. The second area covers simulation and virtualized environments, analysis and visualization of cybersecurity threats, and cybersecurity education. The third area covers laws of cybersecurity, cybercrime, and cyber defense.
