The project is based on a long time established cooperation of researchers coming from several areas of Analysis, Differential Geometry and Topology. Its aim is to promote the synthesis of various approaches, methods, and techniques, in order to study appealing problems of interdisciplinary character. More specifically, the following topics will be dealt with: 1) the study of the symmetries and related properties of differential operators in the realm of global analysis on real and complex manifolds, 2) topological constructions of algebraic character motivated by mathematical physics and differential geometry. The common feature of the first item is the systematic exploration of the tools of the representation theory of semisimple Lie groups and the categorical approach to the concepts. Some classical problems on domains of holomorphy are also included.
