Lucia Cengelová, who is working on her high school scientific activity in Loschmidt's laboratories under the guidance of Miloš Musil, won the national round of the AMAVET competition. Lucia studies at the Jozef Miloslav Hurban Gymnasium in Čadca and will now represent the Slovak Republic in the global round. The competition will take place in May 2022 in the USA and there will be only two participants from Slovakia.
Lucia also won the Dean's Award of the Faculty of Science at the University of Pavol Jozef Safarik in Kosice.
