The Dean's Award of the Faculty of Science MU is governed by the Dean's Measure No. 7/2019 in the Terms of Scholarship Programmes of the Faculty of Science Masaryk University, paragraph A.2, letter a) and is announced annually to support the creative activities of outstanding students of Bachelor's, Master's, and doctoral study programmes.
a) the best student in the Bachelor's and Master's study programme
b) the best student in the doctoral study programme
c) the collective of outstanding students
The director of the institute can nominate 1 person for each category, up to 2 persons (students / recent graduates) for large institutes. In the nomination form, make a short evaluation of the proposed student / graduate, especially taking into account the scientific achievements, learning outcomes and significant activities in the field. No further attachments are required.
Nominations for the Faculty of Science MU should be sent to prochazkova@sci.muni.cz by 24 February 2023.
You can also nominate students nominated for the Rector's Award, in which case you only need to send the student's name, and we will use the nomination form from the Rector's Award.

On September 27, 2024, over two hundred enthusiastic scientists, teachers and students prepared 62 stands on the theme ‘Transformations in the natural sciences and mathematics’, attracting more than 4,500 visitors to both SCI MUNI campuses.
On September 24, a group of graduates from the teacher training program in mathematics and physics visited us. They completed their studies in 1970, so we gave them a tour to show how the faculty has changed since then.
