On the occasion of the World Quantum Day, on 12 April 2022 the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the CAS (ISI CAS) will present the topic of quantum physics and related quantum technologies.

SCIENCE OF PLAYERS - experimental afternoon - free admission

Visitors will try out simple experiments showing quantum phenomena in technologies that have become part of our everyday lives. They will get acquainted with the research of the scientists of the ISI CAS based on the latest findings of quantum physics.

Hall of the Great Planetarium of the Brno Observatory and Planetarium - admission 100 CZK

18:00 - 18:30 "Quantum technologies - the big topic of the future"

The topic will be introduced by prof. Ing. Josef Lazar, Dr., Director of the ISI CAS


18:40 - 19:25 "What is quantum physics"

The question "What is quantum physics" will be presented by prof. Mgr. Tomáš Tyc, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University and member of the scientific group of Complex Photonics, ISI CAS.
