Call for Proposals - Ladislav Šmejda Postdoctoral Fellowship

An interesting call for proposal has been opened for post-docs to apply for a one-year research fellowship with the possibility for extension up to two years.

The focus of the call is towards researchers in the early stage of their scientific career (at most 5 year after obtaining the doctoral degree, i.e. no earlier than 1st Sept 2019) and is not limited by a particular field of research!

Successful applicants shall be supported by a competitive financial contribution and shall arrive to Israel between November 2024 and January 2025. There, they shall perform their full time research and may as well teach a course of up to 2 teaching hours per week.

The fellowship bears a legacy of the late associate professor Ladislav Šmejda of West Bohemia University, who - apart from his remarkable interdisciplinary scientific achievements - contributed greatly to creating the strong bond between Ariel Univeristy and Czech academia.

The deadline for submission of the applications is 31st August 2024 at 12:00 IST (11:00 CEST). The assessment and declaration of the results will be done in September 2024.
