The 24th meeting of the AS of the Faculty of Science in the term of office 2020-2023 was held on April 17th, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. in the meeting room B17/432 in the Bohunice campus.

Approved program of the meeting:

1. Control of tasks
2. Proposals for 6 requests to extend the accreditation of our existing study programs Bc and Nmgr Applied and Environmental Geology, Bc and NMgr Geology, NMgr Geoenvironmental Risks and Remediations, and NMgr Nature Conservation
3. The action of the Dean of the Faculty of Science – Teaching and creation of study programs
4. The merger of the Central Library with the Dean's Office
5. Statute of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University
6. The action of the Dean of the Faculty of Science – Rules for the distribution of financial resources of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University in the year 2023

Conclusions and resolutions adopted:

1. The Academic Senate of PřF MU has discussed and agrees in accordance with § 27 paragraph 2 letter a) Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on universities and on the amendment and addition of other laws (the Act on Universities), as amended, Article 18 of the internal regulations of Masaryk University Approval, management and quality assessment of MU study programs with applications on the extension of the authorization to carry out the study programs Bc and NMgr Applied and Environmental Geology, Bc and NMgr Geology, NMgr Geoenvironmental Risks, and Remediations and NMgr program Nature Conservation, and recommends them to the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Science of the MU and the Internal Evaluation Council of the MU for approval, to the maximum extent possible for a period of 10 years.
2. The Academic Senate of PřF MU approves the Action of the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University Teaching and creation of study programs.
3. The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science of MU approves the abolition of the Central Library as another workplace according to Article 25 of the Statute of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University, in the form of a merger with the Dean's Office.
4. The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science of MU approves the Statute of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University.
5. The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science of MU approves the Measure of the Dean of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University Rules for the distribution of financial resources of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University in the year 2023.
6. The Academic Senate of the Faculty of Science of MU approves the budget of the Faculty of Science for the year 2023.
