Characterization of plant RLP-RLK complex at the plasma membrane and actions following pathogen perception

Perception of microbial-associated molecular patterns (MAMPs) (also called elicitors) is essential for the induction of effective plant resistance. Actions on the plasma membrane and steps following pathogen perception will be described in this project. Description of plant-pathogen interaction can be utilized to a targeted selection of resistant varieties further breeding for resistance to selected pathogens.
