Assoc. Prof. Marcela Buchtová, together with Lenka Doubková, Nikodém Zezula and Pavel Dobeš, successfully fought the demanding accreditation process and endless forms, and OFIŽ thus finally obtained permission from the Ministry of Agriculture for breeding and experimental use of fish, frogs and other animals – mainly species Danio rerio and Xenopus laevis. This will move the teaching of developmental biology forward and you will soon be able to observe and study the development of a fish or frog embryo with your own eyes.
