Last week, Masaryk University had the honor to host the Nobel Prize laureate, Prof. Eric F. Wieschaus, who was awarded the Nobel Prize (1995) in the field of Physiology with Edward B. Lewis and Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard as co-recipients, for their work revealing the genetic control of embryonic development.
Prof. Eric F. Wieschaus also visited our lab and gave a lecture “Genes and the Mechanics of Cell Shape” as a part of the prestigious Mendel Lectures.
Soon we will add links to his interview on online.muni.cz and in Hydepark Civilizace!
