ASEV-CzeSEV Joint Meeting in Vienna: A Global Gathering of EV Researchers
The Joint Annual Meeting of the Austrian and Czech Society for Extracellular Vesicles (#ASEVCzeSEV2024) was a resounding success! This event brought together EV researchers from across the globe, fostering invaluable collaboration and knowledge exchange. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all CzeSEV members for helping shape this important milestone with us. A special thanks also goes out to all the participants, the organizing committee, student volunteers, and sponsors, whose efforts made this event exceptional.
For the first time, we had the opportunity to present the diverse and expanding body of Czech EV research on an international stage. A huge congratulations to Ilona Pávková for securing second place in the best poster presentation with her work, "Extracellular Vesicles Released from Macrophages Infected with the Intracellular Pathogenic Bacterium Francisella tularensis." We also applaud Klára Hánělová, who won third place in the best oral presentation category for her talk, "The Importance of Extracellular Vesicles as Potential Biomarkers of Head and Neck Cancer."
