Exciting Developments at CzeSEV: Reflecting on Our Inaugural Year
In August 2023, we laid the foundations for CzeSEV. What followed was a journey marked by growth and dedication. Witnessing the steady expansion of our research community has been particularly gratifying. Researcher groups focusing on EVs have joined our cause, and you can now explore brief profiles of these groups on our website.
Recognition on the International Stage
This autumn, CzeSEV reached another significant milestone by securing a coveted spot on the official website of the International Society of Extracellular Vesicles. This recognition not only validates our efforts but also connects us with a global network of researchers and societies.
Aspiring for Official Status
Looking ahead to 2024, our aspiration is to attain official society status. This recognition will undoubtedly bolster our credibility and open up new vistas for collaboration and growth.
First Czech Meeting in the Pipeline
Plans are in progress for the upcoming year, and the inaugural Czech Society of Extracellular Vesicles meeting is slated for February or March in Brno. This event aims to create a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking among our members. Stay tuned for further updates.

The Journal of Extracellular Vesicles has recently endorsed the latest version of MISEV 2023, slated for publication in the coming weeks
MISEV2023 aims to provide a contemporary overview of EV methodologies, covering basic and advanced approaches in production, separation, and characterization from diverse sources. It includes new sections on EV release and uptake, as well as a brief discussion of in vivo approaches. Help us spread the word about MISEV within and beyond the EV community.
