Tryptone 10 g
Glucose 5 ml
K3PO4.3H2O 5 g
Yeast extract 5 ml
Agar 18 g
Distilled water 1000 ml
Sterilize at 118°C for 15 min. Cool to 50°C, add
aseptically the cysteine solution*. Mix well and
pour into sterile Petri dishes.
*Cysteine solution:
Cysteine.HCl (10% solution) 5 ml
Kanavit 1 ml
Filter through sterile bacteriologic filter.
