Aerial Photography

Aerial photography is the best tool for documentation of an actual vegetation cover. During winter of the year 2004 I have planned and successfully constructed a special remotely sensed model of airplane with span of 1.5 m and weight of 0.9 kg. This airplane powered by electric motor can fly with a small digital camera PENTAX OPTIO 4.0 Mpix. The flight time is about 8-10 minutes in the maximum altitude about 150-250 m above the landscape.

All next photographs were taken in nature protected areas of thermophilous non-forest vegetation in surrounding of the Brno city, Czech Republic.
